Bluetooth accessed from the browser?

Well - as it turns out; yes :)

In this short YouTube video by Vincent Scheib, he demoes what will probably be an API to access bluetooth connected devices on your preferred platform (smartphone, tablet, chromebook, notebook, etc).

Perspective? That you'll be able to connect say a barcodereader to your Android steeming phone and from the web browser on the phone, open some 'cloud' service offering you to scanning barcodes and 'store' them in say your 'fridge :)
